Honey Lemonade Recipe

There's nothing quite as refreshing as a glass of cold lemonade on a hot summer day! Try using honey to sweeten your lemonade instead of sugar to make a rich, delicious beverage.

This makes a lovely way to use up your honey stores. Try it with different honey varietals or infused honey flavors to add a kick!

Ingredients

** 1 cup of lemon juice, freshly squeezed. (You'll need about 1 lb of lemons to make this amount)

** 1/3 cup of raw honey

** 3 cups of warm water

** 1 cup of ice cubes

First, warm the water on the stove. There's no need to boil it, just heat it enough so the honey can easily dissolve when you stir it. Keep the water temperature under 100°F to maintain the health benefits of raw honey.

Cut and juice your fresh lemons. Make sure to filter out the seeds and pulp. This step will make your entire kitchen smell amazing!

Once the water is warm, pour in the raw honey. Stir it until the honey dissolves. Add the lemon juice and mix well. Pour the lemonade over ice cubes in a pitcher and serve chilled!

To make an extra fancy drink, try garnishing or muddling it with aromatic herbs like basil, thyme, mint, or rosemary. Delicious!
