4-3/4" Shallow Crimpwire natural beeswax foundation. 12-1/2 lb. box has approx. 150 sheets. Foundation has deep cell walls and 9 strong steel vertical wires that radiate strength throughout the entire sheet. The Hooks are designed to fit under and behind the wedge cleat of the frame to hold it securely in place. You can add additional strength by running horizontally placed cross wires or adding support pins to prevent sagging.
Fresh beeswax absorbs toxins in your hive...it is a good idea to change out about 1/3 of your older comb every three years. This will help to keep your hives healthy.
We are constantly rotating our wax foundation to ensure you get the best quality and the freshest wax. We think this is important. As a result we cannot accept any returns on foundation beyond 30 days.
