The first frame is always the hardest to pull out of the hive. It is propolised down and is difficult to pry out. Not with this EZ Pry Hive tool. Place the hooked end under the edge of your frame with the curved edge resting on the adjacent frame; using leverage, pry the frame out of your hive. A convenient nail puller is located near the curved end and the flat blade can be used to pry hive bodies apart.
