Brushy Mountain Bee Farm

Brushy Mountain Bee Farm was established by Steve and Sandy Forrest and opened for business in 1977. It began as a part-time business with the office and wood shop in the home of Steve and Sandy. 

Brushy Mountain continued to expand and provide products from coast to coast and beyond until its closure in 2018.

Honey & The Hive offers a wide variety of quality beekeeping equipment, Southern Appalachian honey and beeswax, and handmade jewelry, candles, and salves from local artisans. If you're a seasoned beekeeper or a "New Bee", our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you along your journey.
